We are currently looking for a talented professional to join our team and help us navigate the complex world of partnership tax as we continue to grow and innovate in the financial services sector.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Vice President, Partnership Tax to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a senior-level position that reports directly to our Head of Tax. You will play a vital role in our finance department by ensuring our tax compliance is accurate and efficient while collaborating with internal teams and external advisors.
What will you do?
- Oversee partnership tax compliance for our asset management funds and various partnership entities, working in tandem with our internal finance staff and external tax service providers.
- Handle the daily operational aspects of partnership tax, which includes reviewing tax notices, managing tax payments, and maintaining organized documentation and workpapers.
- Support the business through ad hoc projects and detailed analysis as the digital asset and blockchain industry continues to evolve and present new challenges.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of progressive experience in partnership tax, ideally gained within a Big 4 firm or a private industry setting. You should have a deep understanding of partnership tax laws and principles, along with experience in asset or investment management. We require a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA license. You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and possess strong critical thinking and communication skills. Fluency in English is required. Familiarity with Up-C structures, digital assets, or tax automation processes is considered a significant advantage.
