About the Role
We are hiring a Benefits and Wellbeing Manager on a Full Time basis. In this senior-level position, you will lead the design, management, and continuous improvement of our comprehensive benefits and wellness programs. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will partner closely with Talent Management, Compensation & Compliance, Recruiting, Payroll, and the HR Technology Team while also overseeing the Benefits & Wellbeing Specialist. Your work will directly shape how we attract, retain, and support employees throughout their careers at Woodard & Curran.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all benefit programs and plans, including health and wellbeing coverage, integrated disability and leave management, retirement plans, life insurance, and voluntary benefits, while serving as a member of the 401K Committee and resolving employee questions.
- Lead the overall wellbeing program, developing initiatives that promote a healthy, inclusive culture and inspire engagement across the organization.
- Manage the Benefits & Wellbeing team, coordinate with the broader HR group, handle open enrollment, maintain HRIS configurations, support acquisition analysis and onboarding, and drive vendor management, compliance, strategy, and project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, plus 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience in benefits, or a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word, and strong analytical abilities.
- CEBS or equivalent certification preferred, along with experience managing self-insured benefit plans.
- Thorough understanding of state and federal employment and benefits regulations, combined with proven vendor management and operational execution skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative approach to building relationships with HR partners, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders, along with effective oral and written communication and the flexibility to manage shifting priorities.
