Our Product Security team is currently seeking a highly skilled professional to help us ensure that our complex ecosystem-which includes blockchain applications, data lakes, and advanced trading architectures-remains secure by design. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our security posture by bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring that our client-facing and internal systems are protected against evolving threats.
About the Role
We are looking for a VP, Senior Security Testing Engineer to join us in a full-time, on-site capacity. In this senior-level position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive security testing program. You will work closely with our software engineering, SRE, and security operations teams to integrate security into every phase of our development lifecycle, acting as the final line of assurance for our critical product infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a robust security testing program that includes both automated security quality assurance and manual adversarial testing campaigns.
- Perform deep-dive security code reviews and manual testing of critical features, such as authentication and authorization protocols, to identify vulnerabilities.
- Act as a security advocate for our engineering teams by providing guidance on vulnerability mitigation and fostering a mindset focused on identifying and addressing potential adverse scenarios.
Requirements
- A bachelor or post-graduate degree in cybersecurity or a related technology field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in security research and testing, with 3 years specifically focused on cloud and container architectures.
- Strong proficiency in programming and scripting languages, with a preference for Java and Python.
- Relevant security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CSSLP.
- Technical expertise in automated security testing tools like DAST, SAST, SCA, and Selenium.
- A solid understanding of cryptocurrency, trading, and derivatives financial products, as well as familiarity with multi-participant approval systems like MPC.
Location
This role is based on-site.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $220,000, depending on your experience and expertise. We believe in a total compensation philosophy that includes a competitive base salary, annual bonuses, and equity incentives. Our benefits package includes:
