At Conduit, we are building the foundational infrastructure that powers the next generation of on-chain applications. Our platform serves some of the most prominent teams in the crypto space, providing reliable, scalable, and customizable tools for everything from tokenization to payments. With the backing of a $37M Series A led by Paradigm and Haun Ventures, we are assembling a team of experts from industry leaders like Meta, Amazon, and Aave to build the infrastructure layer that will define on-chain finance for the next decade. Whether you are working from our offices in San Francisco or New York City, or joining us from anywhere in the world, you will find a collaborative environment where we prioritize deep technical expertise and thoughtful design.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Control Plane team. This group is the heart of the Conduit platform, managing the coordination layer that provisions, updates, and monitors the services our customers rely on. You will be responsible for building robust lifecycle services that ensure our systems remain consistent and reliable. This is a unique chance to influence the architecture of a critical platform, moving away from manual operations toward fully automated, self-serve systems. While we operate in the web3 space, we use a web2 stack, and we value strong systems judgment over specific blockchain experience.
A day in the life
- You will design and implement lifecycle-as-a-service interfaces, ensuring that provisioning and repairing customer services is handled through reliable, state-based reconciliation.
- You will develop schema-driven, product-agnostic systems that allow our platform to evolve independently of specific product configurations.
- You will build and maintain usage and consumption reporting tools, ensuring that metering data is accurate and trustworthy for our billing systems.
Who you are
You are a seasoned engineer with at least 5 years of experience building and operating production-grade backend systems. You thrive in environments where you need to reason across multiple interacting services, and you have a knack for designing APIs that other teams can depend on. You are comfortable working with asynchronous, event-driven architectures and have a strong instinct for debugging complex issues across the stack. While we primarily use Go, we care more about your ability to pick up new languages quickly than your current mastery of our specific stack. You are self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and ready to take ownership of critical infrastructure.
Why you'll love it here
We are a remote-first company that values independence and high-impact work. By joining our small, senior team, you will have the opportunity to make architectural decisions that shape our platform's future. We believe in writing real design docs, debating tradeoffs, and building robust, always-on services that people rely on every day. You will be part of a mission-driven organization that prioritizes correctness, reliability, and the power of automation.
