We are looking for a Data Migration Specialist to join our team at PracticePanther, where we help legal professionals transition their data from legacy systems into our platform. You will play a vital role in our customers' onboarding journey by managing the technical aspects of data movement while ensuring a supportive and seamless experience for every client.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive migration plans based on specific client requirements.
Write scripts to transform and validate imported data, including financial records, contacts, and case files.
Provide excellent customer service by troubleshooting issues and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Manage the inbound migration queue while setting realistic expectations for project timelines.
Continuously improve our migration workflows to ensure efficient operations.
Document and report on the progress of migration projects at every stage.

Must-haves

At least one year of experience with programming or scripting, specifically using Python.
A minimum of one year working with data pipelines, analytics, and transformation processes.
Proficiency in relational databases such as SQLServer or MySQL.
At least two years of experience using Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Prior experience working with Jira and Salesforce.
