What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Finance Data Engineering and Analytics team. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates anywhere in the world. As a senior member of the team, you will sit at the intersection of data engineering and accounting, focusing on building trusted financial data products that leverage automation and AI to streamline our internal processes.

What will you do?

• Partner with our Finance and Platform Accounting teams to identify workflow pain points and translate those business needs into practical, automated data solutions.
• Design and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines that handle complex financial data, including reconciliations, reporting, and data preparation.
• Develop intuitive dashboards and visualizations to help stakeholders monitor performance, investigate financial discrepancies, and make data-driven decisions.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 7 years of experience in data analytics or management within a regulated financial environment. We value candidates who possess the following:

• Expertise in SQL and Python for writing and maintaining production-grade code.
• Strong software engineering habits, including experience with Git, code reviews, and comprehensive documentation.
• Hands-on experience building pipelines with tools like dbt, Spark, or Airflow.
• Direct experience working with financial or accounting data, such as subledgers, cost basis, or month-end close cycles.
• The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and a proactive mindset toward replacing manual tasks with sustainable automation.
• Fluency in English to facilitate effective collaboration across our global team.
