We are looking for a Python Developer to join our team on a contract basis. You will be working remotely as a key member of our Edison team, which consists of approximately 30 professionals including developers, quality assurance staff, a product owner, and a technical lead. Our group focuses on the Edison Continuous Delivery pipeline, a specialized platform that enables us to deploy updates, new features, and bug fixes to our web publishing ecosystem in a safe and sustainable manner. If you enjoy working in a fast-growing environment, we would love to have you help us expand the functionality of this vital internal product.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our existing squad to develop and implement new features based on the requirements set by our technical lead and product owner.
- Apply your expertise in automated testing to ensure high code quality throughout our Python development process.
- Utilize your knowledge of Amazon Web Services to support and improve our deployment infrastructure and ecosystem.
Requirements
- At least 24 months of professional experience working with Python.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and Events.
- Proven ability to work effectively within Agile environments and collaborate with distributed, remote teams.
- Familiarity with PHP and Drupal is considered a significant advantage for this role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
