The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Derivatives Quant Developer Analyst Associate to join our derivatives engineering team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of data science and financial engineering. You will be responsible for building robust, reusable pricing libraries and optimizing the tools our trading desk uses to manage risk. This position is a perfect fit for someone who wants to apply advanced mathematical modeling to the fast-paced world of crypto, working within a sophisticated technology stack to solve complex financial challenges.
A day in the life
- You will collaborate directly with our derivatives trading desk to enhance their risk management workflows and build high-performance pricing algorithms.
- You will develop and maintain backend services using Python and Go, ensuring our financial models are integrated into scalable, cloud-native applications.
- You will take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from writing clean code and unit tests to managing CI/CD pipelines and supporting production systems.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with at least three years of experience in software development, data science, or quantitative trading. You possess a strong academic background in mathematics, physics, engineering, or computer science, and you have a deep understanding of financial modeling beyond simple spreadsheets. You are comfortable working with Python and Go, and you have practical experience with AWS, Docker, and SQL Server. You are familiar with fastAPI and Pydantic, and you have a solid grasp of derivatives pricing frameworks like Black-Scholes, SABR, or SVI. Most importantly, you are a curious problem-solver who enjoys working in a collaborative, high-energy environment where you can expand your expertise across new technologies and business lines.
Why you'll love it here
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $115,000 to $150,000 USD, complemented by a discretionary bonus structure. Beyond compensation, we are committed to your well-being and professional growth through a comprehensive benefits package:
