Agentic Solutions Architect at ThinkAhead

We are looking for a Senior Agentic Solutions Architect to join our team in a remote, full-time capacity. You will lead the design of production-grade agentic solutions on our internal platform, bridging the gap between business objectives and engineering execution to deliver secure, scalable, and reusable results across multiple squads.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership and business stakeholders to define goals, workflows, and success metrics.
• Evaluate whether agentic solutions are the right fit compared to deterministic workflows or existing capabilities.
• Translate complex business needs into technical requirements, roadmaps, and architectural options.
• Communicate technical tradeoffs regarding cost, security, latency, and delivery speed to both technical and executive audiences.
• Own the architecture for a portfolio of agentic applications, mapping out end-to-end workflows and system interactions.
• Define orchestration patterns, task graphs, and the division of labor between AI agents and platform services.
• Produce architecture diagrams, decision records, and implementation guidance for engineering teams.
• Manage cross-squad dependencies and identify opportunities for reusable patterns and templates.
• Stay hands-on with the code to guide teams and ensure a granular understanding of the solutions being built.
• Directly manage engineers and support developer onboarding across multiple product squads.

Must-haves

• Significant experience in software or solutions architecture, specifically designing and delivering enterprise systems.
• Proven track record of architecting and shipping production-ready AI, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Deep understanding of agentic patterns, including orchestration, RAG, tool use, human-in-the-loop controls, and state management.
• Strong proficiency with AWS, cloud-hosted foundation models, Python, and TypeScript.
• Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs, event-driven systems, serverless architectures, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid grasp of identity, authorization, data privacy, and secure-by-default design principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence multiple teams without relying solely on formal authority.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Microsoft 365.
• Background in establishing reusable architecture standards, reference architectures, or platform governance.
• Experience leading architecture reviews focused on security, compliance, and production risk.
• Relevant certifications in cloud, security, or AI technologies.
• Experience coordinating and managing engineering work against specific timelines.
