We develop intelligent software that automatically identifies defects in sewer inspection footage, providing cities with the objective data they need to prevent leaks, mitigate urban flooding, and lower CO2 emissions. Our team of 35 people is passionate about using technology to protect infrastructure, and we are looking for someone who shares our drive to make a tangible impact on the environment.

The opportunity

We are seeking a Finance & Operations Lead to join our small, high-impact business operations team. This is a full-time, remote position that offers you genuine ownership over the financial health of our growing company. As we expand into new markets, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial rigor and supporting our scaling efforts. You will work closely with our leadership to ensure our operations remain efficient and transparent.

A day in the life

• You will manage the core accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end closures, handling accruals, prepayments, and manual journal entries.
• You will ensure our financial records stay accurate by performing monthly reconciliations and processing invoices, payments, and expense claims.
• You will assist with customer invoicing and collaborate with external auditors to maintain compliance and documentation standards.

Who you are

You are a meticulous finance professional with at least three years of experience in accounting or finance roles. You thrive in environments where you can work independently while remaining a collaborative team player. You possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• A proactive, friendly, and positive attitude with a sharp eye for detail.
• A desire to learn and grow alongside a fast-paced technology company.
• Fluency in English.

While not required, we would love to hear from you if you have experience with Xero, have worked in a SaaS environment, or hold AAT, CIMA, or ACCA qualifications. If you speak German or have previous experience in a startup, that is an added bonus.
