About the Role
This is a full-time, remote position for a Senior Front-End Engineer. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team, working alongside designers, product managers, and other engineers to develop innovative features for our travel products. Our stack relies on React and TypeScript for our web interfaces, while our distributed backend services are built with Scala and hosted on GCP using GKE for orchestration. We value autonomy, asynchronous decision-making, and a focus on high-quality code.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build robust, user-centric web applications that provide meaningful solutions for travelers worldwide.
- Maintain high engineering standards by conducting thorough code reviews and adhering to organizational best practices.
- Collaborate within an AGILE environment to ship features quickly, utilizing data-driven insights and A/B testing to refine our products.
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
- A strong product mindset where you prioritize the customer experience in every technical decision.
- The ability to work autonomously and a fearless approach to diving into new or unknown codebases to achieve results.
- Fluency in English and French is preferred to support our collaborative environment.
