About the Role
We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this mid-level role, you will own and scale the systems that power our product. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the core infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and scalable backend architecture, to ensure our team can move quickly and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure within the GCP ecosystem, utilizing tools like Cloud Functions, Firestore, and Redis.
- Improve system reliability and observability across our stack by managing monitoring, logging, and tracing.
- Evolve our CI/CD pipelines and developer environments to maximize speed and confidence when shipping new features.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- 3 to 11 years of experience in backend or infrastructure engineering within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Proven experience designing and managing serverless or event-driven systems at scale.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD workflows, observability systems, and performance tuning fundamentals.
- A builder’s mindset with a deep sense of ownership and a habit of using AI tools to accelerate development.
Location
This is a remote position, and you can work from anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated annual salary for this position is $165,000 to $210,000, supplemented by a generous equity package. We also provide a comprehensive suite of benefits, including:
