We are Bankjoy, a Y Combinator and Bessemer Venture Partner-backed fintech startup dedicated to helping community banks and credit unions modernize their digital infrastructure. As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst working in a fully remote capacity, you will play a vital role in ensuring our mobile and online banking products deliver a seamless, world-class experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Create, run, and manage test cases across designated functional areas.
- Document and report software defects with clear, actionable details.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and results to key stakeholders.
- Conduct end-to-end solution testing and manage quarterly regression cycles.
- Partner closely with our engineering team to troubleshoot issues and maintain project schedules.
- Collaborate within our cross-functional QA team while maintaining the ability to work independently.
- Uphold high quality standards and follow established best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Engage in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Must-haves
- At least 4 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester.
- A total of 5 years of professional experience in software development or testing.
- Proven background in manual testing for SaaS platforms across web and mobile environments.
- Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Cypress and Appium.
- Strong familiarity with SQA methodologies and industry-standard tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Datadog, SQL, and Postman.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and assess how new features impact existing systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with a history of effective collaboration across engineering and product teams.
