We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Access Control team and help us continue building a more accessible web.
What you bring
In this full-time, remote role based in the United States, you will be a key contributor to our engineering organization. You will work within a collaborative, agile environment to enhance our platform's security and permission management systems. Your daily work will focus on the following responsibilities:
- Designing, building, and maintaining critical shared services and user interfaces related to access control and permission management.
- Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, QA analysts, and fellow engineers to drive projects to completion.
- Developing and documenting robust APIs for our internal and external access control systems.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced engineer who has spent at least five years shipping web applications to market. You should have a strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript, along with practical experience using Node.js. Success in this role requires deep technical problem-solving skills, the ability to debug complex issues across the stack, and a passion for mentoring team members. We value candidates who are excellent communicators and who thrive in an agile, supportive environment.
