We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity to help us scale our core services and improve our internal engineering processes.
Key outcomes
- Design and test robust cloud infrastructure services that support our entire product suite.
- Balance the needs of reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency while modernizing existing services.
- Partner with product engineering teams to develop new solutions and workflows.
- Engage in technical design discussions and peer code reviews.
- Contribute to and refine our on-call and incident response procedures.
- Improve engineering velocity and safety by implementing automation, standardized processes, and cloud best practices.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience maintaining and debugging cloud services in a customer-facing environment with high uptime requirements.
- Hands-on expertise in building and scaling services within AWS or GCP.
- Experience working with container-centric architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with contributing to fullstack applications or services written in TypeScript, Node, or Go.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $118,000 to $181,000 USD, depending on geographic location and individual qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
