The role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our ChartCheck team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates within the United States. We are seeking an experienced developer who is passionate about using their technical expertise to advance cancer care. You will take ownership of both front-end and back-end development for our ChartCheck application, working closely with a team that values innovation and high-quality clinical outcomes.

Core responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain critical features for radiotherapy plan checking, including DICOM integration, image visualization, and dose evaluation.
• Build performant and reliable desktop software using WPF while ensuring seamless integration with oncology information systems.
• Collaborate with physicists and product leadership to translate complex clinical requirements into production-ready software solutions.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a commitment to building safe, effective medical software. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Deep expertise in C# and .NET, along with proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience as a full-stack developer capable of working across web and cloud systems.
• Database proficiency with MongoDB, SQL, or PostgreSQL.
• A preference for front-end programming and experience with WPF.
• Familiarity with clinical radiotherapy, DICOM imaging, HIPAA regulations, and software risk management is highly valued.
