Postscript is transforming how ecommerce brands connect with their customers by establishing SMS as a primary channel for engagement and retention. Backed by prominent investors like Y Combinator and Greylock, we are scaling rapidly and seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Messaging Platform team as we rebuild our outbound infrastructure for maximum performance and scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and build robust microservices using Go.
- Manage data storage solutions using MongoDB and other NoSQL technologies.
- Operate within an AWS cloud environment.
- Collaborate using Agile methodologies to deliver scalable, flexible backend systems.
- Contribute to the development of an industry-leading, high-throughput messaging platform.
Must-haves
- Six to eight years of professional software development experience.
- At least three years of dedicated experience working with Go.
- Proven ability to lead projects and deliver end-to-end backend solutions.
- Experience building low-latency, high-throughput applications.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English.
- A flexible approach and a drive to learn new technologies.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical experience working with AWS infrastructure.
- Background in utilizing NoSQL databases.
- Experience thriving in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.

The base salary for this position is USD $170,000 to $200,000, supplemented by significant equity compensation.
