About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Flow Builder team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will help design and evolve the message orchestration platform that powers our customers' SMS businesses. You will work within a collaborative environment to build scalable, distributed systems while serving as a technical leader who helps shape our architecture and engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop highly available, scalable platform primitives and REST APIs to support both internal and external users.
- Lead technical decision-making by weighing business priorities against system constraints to deliver high-value product features.
- Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to team health by providing constructive feedback and establishing development best practices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A strong background in backend development with hands-on experience using Golang and Python.
- Expertise in database modeling and management with Postgres.
- Proven experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS.
- A track record of building modular, flexible, and extensible architectures.
- Excellent communication skills and a history of mentoring other engineers.
- Professional experience in a high-growth or early-stage SaaS environment is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of USD $170,000 to $200,000, along with the following perks:
