Relay is building the web3 messenger. Our team works at the intersection of messaging and decentralized technology, creating tools that prioritize speed, privacy, and user control in a fast-moving space.
The role
We are hiring a Senior Frontend Developer to join us on a Full Time, Remote basis. In this position you will take ownership of meaningful parts of our product while collaborating closely with designers and other engineers to deliver reliable, high-quality interfaces.
Core responsibilities
- Translate design mocks and workflow diagrams into functional UI components, emphasizing correctness, readability, and maintainability.
- Incorporate feedback quickly and thoughtfully to improve both the product and the codebase.
- Follow product specifications closely while writing clean, correct code that aligns with established UI patterns.
Skills and experience
- At least three years of experience building production applications with React.
- At least one year of hands-on experience with TypeScript or another strongly typed language.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
- Strong grasp of idiomatic UI implementation patterns and attention to detail in interface work.
- A genuine curiosity about technology and a drive to continue learning and improving.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a fully remote work arrangement with unlimited vacation, medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance for you and your dependents. Remote team members also receive a home office budget of up to $2,000 USD to set up their workspace. Company lunches are provided two to three times per week at local restaurants for those who join in person.
