About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cryptographer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will focus on designing and auditing cryptographic protocols, specifically leveraging your expertise in Threshold Signature Schemes and Multi-Party Computation. You will act as a key technical resource, working alongside our security experts and software engineers to protect our systems against emerging threats and ensure our products maintain the highest standards of security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex cryptographic protocols and algorithms centered on TSS and MPC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these cryptographic solutions into our existing product suite or new developments.
• Perform rigorous security audits and penetration testing to proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within our cryptographic systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in mathematics or computer science and a passion for security. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's or advanced degree in Cryptography, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in cryptography, with a specific focus on TSS and MPC.
• A deep understanding of standard cryptographic protocols such as RSA, ECC, AES, and SHA.
• Experience designing and deploying cryptographic solutions for enterprise-level environments.
• Familiarity with industry security standards such as FIPS, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Location

This position is based in the United States and requires on-site work.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $240,000 USD, depending on your leveling and location. In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible for equity compensation and an annual performance bonus. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
