What you bring

We are seeking an executive-level Director of Engineering to lead our Wallets division on a full-time basis. While this is not a hands-on coding position, you will remain deeply involved in the technical direction of our core wallet technology. This role is based in the United States and operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days per week in our Palo Alto office. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing innovative wallet solutions that cater to a wide range of clients, from crypto-native startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.
• Taking full accountability for the overall user experience and performance of our wallet platform.
• Partnering closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to define the technical roadmap and ensure successful execution of our vision.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in software engineering and leadership, with at least 14 years of professional experience, including 6 years in management and 2 years leading other managers. You should hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field. We value candidates who demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management and clear communication skills, as you will be responsible for guiding engineering-wide initiatives and fostering a culture of accountability and craftsmanship. A genuine interest or professional background in the crypto space is essential, as is a proven track record of hiring top-tier talent and successfully navigating the transition into a new organizational structure.
