Engineering Manager - Mobile at BitGo

What is this role?

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Mobile team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Palo Alto office, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our mobile strategy. We are looking for a leader with a strong technical background in React Native who can guide our engineers, foster a culture of craftsmanship, and ensure we continue to deliver high-quality, cross-platform applications that meet the needs of our global customer base.

What will you do?

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers by providing technical guidance and fostering an environment of open communication and ownership.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of our mobile applications, from initial design and architecture to the execution and delivery of features on iOS and Android.
• Serve as a strategic bridge between engineering and other departments, such as product, compliance, and business operations, to ensure our technical roadmap aligns with company goals and service uptime requirements.

• At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with 2 or more years specifically in a management capacity.
• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience developing mobile applications with React Native.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to source and hire top-tier engineering talent.
• A self-starting mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on long-term project goals.
