Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role, and we are looking for someone who can work from our offices in either McLean, VA, or the Bay Area, CA. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our data architecture and driving the analytical insights that power our member experience.
Your impact
- You will manage and evolve our data infrastructure, working hands-on with Snowflake, dbt, Tableau, Looker, and GCP services.
- You will partner with analysts, engineers, and scientists to build reusable data models and high-impact dashboards that enable true data self-service across the company.
- You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to our data team, establishing best practices for data warehousing and analytics to foster a data-driven culture.
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of experience in data analytics with deep expertise in SQL and data warehousing technologies like Snowflake.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with dbt, Python, and Git.
- At least 3 years of experience in data modeling and designing robust data architectures.
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- A strong background in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly.
- Fluency in English.
Perks and compensation
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $153,000 USD, depending on your experience and location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
