Role at a glance
We are seeking a Director of Engineering to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior leadership position that requires you to work on-site 4-5 days per week at our offices in McLean, VA, or the San Francisco Bay Area. You will be responsible for guiding the technical strategy for our Account, Integration, and Developer Portal teams, ensuring our systems remain robust, scalable, and secure as we continue to grow.
Your impact
- Lead the technical strategy and execution for authentication, account recovery, and customer integrations while overseeing our Developer Portal.
- Drive innovation by developing cutting-edge, omni-channel authentication solutions that provide a seamless experience for our members and partners.
- Mentor and build a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement to meet our ambitious growth goals.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a seasoned leader with a deep background in identity management, authentication, and security protocols. We are looking for someone who brings:
- Significant experience leading engineering teams within high-growth tech environments.
- A strong grasp of cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and agile development methodologies.
- Proven success in scaling digital products and aligning complex engineering strategies with overarching business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams like Product, Design, and Data Science.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Perks and compensation
