The role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Electrical Test & Rapid Prototype Engineer II to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This position is perfect for an engineer who thrives on hands-on design and wants to see their work directly impact the performance and safety of advanced aerospace technology.
Core responsibilities
- Take ownership of the requirements gathering, design, and validation processes for test stands used to evaluate V-BAT subsystems and components.
- Design test fixtures and stands that incorporate relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and various electrical and mechanical components.
- Develop fully automated test sequences using Python to streamline our validation workflows.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in engineering principles and a history of delivering results on hardware projects. We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- A solid grasp of fundamental engineering concepts across EE, mechanical engineering, programming, physics, and mathematics.
- Proven experience working on multidisciplinary hardware development projects.
- A demonstrated history of project ownership and a commitment to maintaining high standards as a teammate.
- Proficiency or familiarity with Python scripting.
- Experience with PCB schematic and layout tools like Altium.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- The ability to innovate and adapt quickly under pressure.
