We build custom electrical and mechanical equipment in-house to conduct rigorous component and system-level testing, even under harsh environmental conditions. About the Role

We are searching for a Senior Electrical Test and Rapid Prototype Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this position, you will be responsible for designing test PCBs, automating test sequences using Python, and developing test fixtures with commercial off-the-shelf equipment. You will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with HASS, ESS, and HALT testing as you contribute to our mission of hardware excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the requirements gathering, design, and validation processes for various test stands used to evaluate V-BAT components and subsystems.
• Design simple to moderately complex PCBs that serve as the interface between your test stands and the devices being tested.
• Develop fully automated test sequences by utilizing Python to streamline our hardware validation efforts.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we look for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of work experience.
• A strong command of fundamental engineering principles, including physics, mathematics, programming, and mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience working on multidisciplinary hardware projects, whether through professional roles, internships, or personal initiatives.
• A track record of taking ownership of project outcomes and maintaining high standards of collaboration and integrity.
• Preferred experience includes proficiency with Python, PCB design software like Altium or KiCAD, and CAD tools such as SolidWorks or NX.
