We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. At Roo, we operate the first B2B labor marketplace dedicated to the animal healthcare industry. Our platform connects veterinary professionals with hospitals through innovative technology, aiming to improve professional empowerment and animal care outcomes. Since our launch in 2019, we have been scaling rapidly, and we are now seeking a talented designer to help us redefine the experiences of our diverse user base, which includes hospitals, veterinarians, technicians, and students.
Responsibilities
- You will contribute to the growth of our platform by delivering new features and enhancements across our website, responsive web application, and mobile app.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all design work aligns with our core business objectives while providing a seamless user experience.
- You will manage the entire design process, from creating wireframes to final production, while actively contributing to our design system and maintaining consistent user journeys.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in product design, supported by a diverse portfolio.
- High proficiency in standard design tools, specifically Figma.
- A solid grasp of both UX and UI design principles.
- Experience with product strategy and the ability to balance user needs with business requirements.
- Proven ability to build and maintain design systems while producing production-ready assets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a history of working effectively across different locations.
- A solution-oriented mindset and the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
