VP of Product at Mapbox

What is this role?

We are looking for a VP of Product to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a senior-level leadership position reporting directly to our CEO. You will be responsible for overseeing our product teams across all services, driving our strategic direction, and ensuring we maintain strong product-market fit while scaling our commercial adoption.

What will you do?

• Drive Product Vision: You will set the strategic direction for our external-facing services, operating with an entrepreneurial mindset to build and scale new business lines.
• Foster Ecosystem Growth: You will lead strategies for B2B2C environments, focusing on successfully onboarding merchants and businesses onto our platform.
• Lead Through Collaboration: You will partner with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to refine our go-to-market strategies and deliver a world-class developer experience.

• Extensive Leadership Experience: You have 10 or more years of experience building and scaling strategic initiatives in diverse organizations.
• AI and Technical Expertise: You have a strong foundation in artificial intelligence, including experience with AI agents and toolkits, and you are comfortable working with APIs, SDKs, and developer-focused products.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: You have a proven track record of taking products from zero-to-one and possess the ability to execute complex go-to-market strategies.
• Communication Skills: You can translate complex technical ideas into clear, concise communication for a wide variety of audiences.
• Data-Driven Mindset: You rely on data to inform your decisions while maintaining the instinct to move quickly when perfect information is unavailable.
