Foodsmart is the leading Foodcare platform in the U.S., dedicated to delivering nutrition-driven healthcare at scale. We combine personalized clinical nutrition, behavior change tools, and food benefits to improve health outcomes for over 3 million members, and we are looking for a Member Support Representative to join our team on a part-time, remote basis.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for incoming member inquiries regarding services, eligibility, appointments, and food benefits.
- Provide empathetic, clear guidance to members while navigating internal knowledge bases and standard operating procedures.
- Assist members with platform access, account management, and basic technical troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with internal teams to match members with the right dietitians and schedule appointments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions to ensure seamless follow-up and resolution.
- Handle sensitive member information with strict confidentiality and high personal accountability.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to resolve complex issues and support team goals.
Must-haves
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience working with sensitive information, including PII and PHI, along with a foundational understanding of HIPAA.
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems and tools while maintaining live engagement with members.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining a collaborative team player.
- Reliable high-speed internet access and a private, secure workspace.
- Availability to work between 9 AM and 5 PM PST, Monday through Friday.
Nice-to-haves
- At least one year of experience working in a dedicated work-from-home or hybrid call-center environment.
- Availability to work until 8 PM PST.
