The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of the crypto industry. This is a full-time, remote role that places you at the heart of our efforts to ensure that public blockchains remain decentralized, permissionless, and censorship-resistant. You will be instrumental in developing the core infrastructure that powers our ecosystem, working alongside some of the brightest minds in the space to solve complex, high-impact problems.
A day in the life
- You will design and develop key components for our core products, including MEV-Boost, MEV-Share, and our builder infrastructure.
- You will craft clear technical documentation and architectural diagrams to help the community understand and utilize our tools.
- You will build and maintain robust public API services and developer tools that support the broader Flashbots ecosystem.
Who you are
You are a seasoned engineer with a strong background in building production-grade systems using Golang or Rust. You thrive in asynchronous environments, whether you are collaborating closely with teammates or tackling a project independently. You possess a T-shaped skill set, meaning you have deep expertise in your core area while maintaining a broad understanding of the tech stack. We value candidates who are adaptable, accountable, and driven by a builder mentality. While not required, deep familiarity with the Ethereum stack and a history of contributing to open-source projects will certainly catch our eye.
