The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to take ownership of the roadmaps for Hardhat and EDR. These products serve as the backbone of the Ethereum developer stack, and you will play a critical role in defining how developers write, test, and deploy their applications. This is a senior individual contributor position where you will partner directly with our engineering teams to bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and the needs of our global user base. You will be instrumental in ensuring our tools remain the industry standard for both experimentation and large-scale production systems.

A day in the life

• You will lead the prioritization of our product roadmaps, balancing long-term strategic goals with the immediate needs of the Ethereum developer community.
• You will translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and documentation, ensuring our APIs and CLI tools provide a seamless experience for users.
• You will collaborate daily with our engineering teams to evaluate architectural trade-offs, solve implementation challenges, and guide the design of new features from conception to release.

Who you are

You are a seasoned product leader with a deep technical background. You understand the nuances of developer tooling because you have spent time in the trenches as an engineer yourself. You communicate fluently in English and possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in product management for technical or developer-facing platforms.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a software engineer, with proficiency in a strongly typed language like Rust, TypeScript, or Go.
• Proven ability to design APIs, CLIs, and SDKs that prioritize the developer experience.
• A practical understanding of the Ethereum protocol and the infrastructure that supports it.
• Strong judgment regarding technical feasibility and the ability to manage the full product lifecycle, from discovery to iteration.
