Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the infrastructure required to capture and process tens of billions of events each month.
- Ensure the reliability and integrity of data as it flows into our product analytics, feature flags, and customer data platform services.
- Design and implement scalable systems that can handle significant increases in data volume.
- Own the ingestion pipeline end-to-end, making architectural decisions to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate within a remote, async-first environment to ship high-quality code frequently.
Must-haves
- Significant experience building and maintaining highly scalable, event-driven distributed systems.
- Proven background in developing multi-tenant software-as-a-service products.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Go, or Rust.
- Hands-on experience managing Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Redis at scale.
- A track record of shipping updates quickly while maintaining system stability.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with customer data platforms or complex analytics systems.
- A history of managing on-call rotations and incident response.
- Comfort with provisioning and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with benchmarking, profiling tools, and observability practices.
