Role at a glance
We are seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer, Mixed Signal to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere, or from our offices in Scottsdale or Baton Rouge. You will be at the heart of our product development, helping us push the boundaries of audio engineering.
Your impact
- Lead the design and analysis of electronic audio products, ensuring every component functions perfectly from initial concept through to final manufacturing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, reviewing their work for quality and helping to establish our internal design standards.
- Collaborate across teams to solve complex technical challenges and optimize our development processes for better efficiency and lower costs.
What you'll need
To thrive in this role, you should have a solid foundation in electronics design and a passion for audio equipment. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- A BSEE or BSET degree, along with at least 7 years of relevant experience in electronics design.
- Expertise in high-speed digital circuit design, complex MCU/MPU systems, and digital audio protocols.
- Proficiency with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout, as well as standard electronics test equipment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex, long-term projects with minimal supervision.
- A deep interest in continuous improvement and a musical background is considered a significant plus.
- Fluency in English.
