From our office in London, we create products and brand experiences that inspire musical expression worldwide. We are currently seeking a talented PR Specialist to join our EMEA marketing team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a background in either an agency or an in-house environment who wants to contribute to a world-leading brand.
Key outcomes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Music Instrument media across the EMEA region.
- Partner with internal teams to shape go-to-market strategies and ensure the success of product launches.
- Draft high-quality media assets, such as press releases, fact sheets, and pitches, while also providing internal updates.
- Coordinate media schedules for trade shows and marketing events, including managing interviews and preparing spokespeople.
- Oversee the product sample inventory process for media reviews, events, and influencer partnerships.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists and key influencers, particularly within the specialist music instrument space.
- Manage media interviews for Fender artists and secure product reviews in relevant publications.
- Track project progress through detailed reporting and assist with product placement approvals for commercial campaigns.
- Collaborate across departments and with our UK-based PR agency to align brand messaging and visibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in public relations, whether in an agency setting or an in-house role.
- Expertise in writing and producing professional media materials and internal documentation.
- A strong track record of managing media interviews and preparing effective briefing materials.
- Exceptional media relations skills with a demonstrated ability to build lasting connections with journalists.
- Experience in developing and executing strategies for brand campaigns and product launches.
- Proficiency in managing product review programs.
- The ability to communicate professionally with executives and exercise sound judgment.
- Outstanding organizational skills, combined with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the willingness to collaborate closely with a team to get the job done.
- The capacity to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A strategic approach to pitching stories to secure placements in music, entertainment, and business outlets.
- Fluency in English is required.
Preferred qualifications
- A working knowledge of the music industry, musical instrument brands, and the artists who use them.
- The ability to play guitar is considered a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in additional European languages.
