We are currently looking for a passionate professional to join our product team and help us build out our new Canadian Real-Time Rail payment gateway.
About the Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join us on a full-time basis. In this mid-level role, you will work closely with our Product Manager to translate complex payment requirements into clear, actionable specifications. You will play a vital part in the end-to-end delivery of our Canadian payment infrastructure, ensuring our product meets the needs of the market while collaborating with our engineering and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to support the complete build and delivery process for our Canadian Real-Time Rail payment gateway.
- Translate intricate payment scheme and business requirements into high-quality user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze the impact of product enhancements and utilize data-driven insights to support informed decision-making across the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in the payments or FinTech industry. We value your ability to navigate complex systems and your commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Professional experience as a Business Analyst within banking, payments, or FinTech.
- Deep understanding of the Canadian payments ecosystem, including familiarity with rails like Interac e-Transfer.
- Technical proficiency with APIs, cloud technologies, and modern system architectures.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical skills and experience supporting products from initial requirements through to final delivery.
Location
This position is remote, specifically for candidates based in Ontario, Canada. Please note that all new team members will spend their first day at one of our offices to collect necessary equipment.
