Senior Product Manager - Databases at Fivetran

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team and help us continue driving business growth through innovative data solutions.

Key outcomes

• Develop and oversee the strategic product roadmap for our database replication portfolio, establishing quarterly goals and tracking key results.
• Prioritize major initiatives that enhance the performance and capabilities of your product area.
• Conduct comprehensive customer research and data analysis to uncover new opportunities for product improvement.
• Partner closely with engineering, design, sales, and product marketing teams to ensure successful adoption of your initiatives.
• Serve as an advocate for your product successes, both within the company and to external stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience managing products focused on data replication.
• Strong technical background in databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server, as well as ETL processes.
• A proven history of shipping products that achieve measurable impact.
• A self-starting mindset with a passion for staying current on cloud technologies and industry trends.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail balanced with a clear understanding of the broader strategic vision.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep knowledge of database design, including concepts like CAP theorem and row versus columnar storage, as well as experience with networking, cloud infrastructure, and data storage.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000 USD. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
