Senior Backend Software Engineer, Subscriptions Enablement at Gamechanger

What you'll be doing

• You will take ownership of our subscriptions and payments platforms, designing the foundational APIs and systems that empower our entire organization.
• You will lead the development of new features that drive subscription growth and expand our monetization capabilities.
• You will collaborate across departments, including Product, Design, and Data, to solve complex architectural challenges and deliver high-impact solutions for our users.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in backend engineering and a desire to build scalable, reliable systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of professional experience in software development, with a minimum of 4 years working with Node.js or similar backend technologies.
• Proven experience leading the design and implementation of complex technical projects.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and experience working within AWS environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical partners.
• Fluency in English to effectively collaborate with our global team.
