The role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position requiring at least 36 months of professional experience. You will play a vital role in our engineering department by leading the development and maintenance of the core platforms that support our electric motor products. We need someone who can take ownership of technical initiatives and help us scale our infrastructure to meet the demands of our growing business.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and deployment of full-stack applications while defining our long-term technical roadmap.
• Mentor a team of 2 to 4 engineers by conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of high-quality development practices.
• Build and optimize data-intensive systems, including the management of PostgreSQL and TimeScaleDB databases alongside robust ETL pipelines.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure. We value candidates who are proficient in the following areas:

• Backend Development: Deep expertise in Python, specifically using frameworks like Django and FastAPI.
• Frontend Development: Experience building responsive user interfaces with React.
• Infrastructure and DevOps: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS to manage deployments and CI/CD workflows.
• Data Engineering: Ability to design and maintain complex data pipelines and integrate AI or machine learning functionalities.
• Communication: Fluency in English to collaborate effectively within our distributed team.
