Manager, Engineering - Frontend at Wrapbook

With a growing team of over 350 people, we are looking for a talented Engineering Manager to join our remote team in Canada and help us transform how the entertainment industry operates.

What you'll be doing

• You will lead our Frontend Platform team, taking full ownership of the health, delivery, and strategic direction of our shared frontend infrastructure and reporting systems.
• You will stay hands-on by contributing to code reviews, engaging in pair programming, providing architectural guidance, and assisting with critical tasks whenever necessary.
• You will manage and evolve our shared component architecture, including our design system, data grids, and UI frameworks, while partnering with product and design teams to execute our roadmap.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should possess a blend of technical expertise and leadership experience. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in engineering management, supported by a strong background as an individual contributor.
• Deep technical proficiency in frontend development, specifically with StimulusJS, Hotwire, and modern component systems.
• Proven experience in building or maintaining design systems and shared component libraries.
• Familiarity with scalable data and reporting systems, along with experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Strong communication skills, as you will be collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to drive engineering excellence.
• Fluency in English.
