What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join us on a contractor basis. This is a fully remote position that is open to candidates located anywhere. You will play a critical role in supporting our game development and live operations teams by maintaining the backbone of our online services.
What will you do?
- Design and maintain automated infrastructure to support our game backend and live operations.
- Build and manage efficient deployment pipelines to ensure we can release updates quickly and reliably.
- Collaborate closely with our development and infrastructure teams to minimize downtime and enhance the performance of our services.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills and experience:
- Advanced proficiency in Linux environments.
- Proven experience implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows using tools like Gitlab or Jenkins.
- Practical experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience working within cloud environments, specifically AWS or Azure.
- A deep understanding of Kubernetes and core components of AWS EKS or Azure AKS.
- Expertise in Docker, including building images, scaling, clustering, and automation.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- A strong sense of detail and a knack for solving complex technical challenges.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Python scripting, a solid grasp of how APIs function, or knowledge of networking concepts like firewalls and routing protocols.
