Finite State is looking for a Senior Agent Systems Engineer to join our team as the first person in this role. We partner with product security teams to provide transparency for connected devices and supply chains, and we are looking for a technical operator to help us rebuild our revenue processes around AI-augmented systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery with revenue leaders to identify time sinks and design effective, automated solutions.
- Architect our GTM data layer using Snowflake as the source of truth, dbt for modeling, and Reverse ETL tools for activation into Salesforce and HubSpot.
- Build and deploy AI agents for revenue-critical tasks, such as account research, lead routing, and outbound personalization.
- Connect systems via APIs, webhooks, and custom code using Python or TypeScript.
- Establish a governance layer for all agents, including access controls, audit trails, and data handling.
- Create evaluation frameworks to measure real business outcomes, such as pipeline generation and rep efficiency.
- Document architectures and runbooks to ensure systems are maintainable and scalable.
Must-haves
- 5+ years of experience in RevOps, Growth Ops, or GTM Engineering with a track record of shipping production systems.
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with the modern data stack, including Snowflake, dbt, and Reverse ETL platforms.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce or HubSpot, specifically regarding schema design and custom objects.
- Production experience deploying LLMs and AI agents within GTM workflows.
- Strong process-oriented thinking and the ability to define solutions independently.
- A commitment to security, governance, and data integrity.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Reverse ETL or CDP platforms like Hightouch, Census, or Segment.
- Practical knowledge of modern agent frameworks, MCP servers, or agent SDKs.
- Background in supporting a product-led growth motion.
- Experience with public technical writing or speaking.
- Familiarity with security buyer personas, such as CISOs or product security leaders.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $192,000 - $230,000.
