The role

We are hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team on a full-time, remote basis. This position is open to candidates at the junior experience level who are ready to build production-grade systems on a modern cloud platform while learning from experienced engineers.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design sustainable infrastructure and microservice solutions that support high availability, security, cost efficiency, and scalability on Google Cloud.
• Automate infrastructure and tooling using Python, Golang, Terraform, and Kubernetes to reduce manual work and improve reliability across our platform.
• Monitor applications, participate in an on-call rotation, and provide operational support that helps other teams release, operate, and observe their services independently.

Skills and experience

• Hands-on experience writing Python or Golang, with a strong interest in deepening expertise in Kubernetes and public-cloud operations.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts, CI/CD practices, and monitoring or observability tools is helpful but not required.
• Comfort working in English and a genuine eagerness to learn about resource optimization, horizontal and vertical scaling, and large-scale system reliability.

Compensation and benefits

The position offers a salary of €39,000 gross per year.
