Our team of over 300 professionals combines expertise in financial services, platform security, and distributed ledger technology to provide secure custody and infrastructure solutions. We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our global, remote-friendly team and help us shape the future of finance.

What you'll be doing

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers, taking full responsibility for their professional development, quality of execution, and timely delivery of complex projects.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to refine our engineering roadmap, ensuring our technical strategy aligns with business goals and the realities of our distributed systems.
• Drive our hiring and recruiting efforts to build a diverse, talented team while fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

You are a seasoned leader with a passion for building and scaling teams. We value your ability to manage geographically distributed groups and your experience working with complex distributed systems. While we primarily use Go, we prioritize your core engineering and management fundamentals over specific language expertise. You should be comfortable with:

• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and people management.
• A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, concurrency, and data structures.
• A methodical, detail-oriented approach to building and supporting services from the ground up.
• Fluency in English to effectively collaborate across our global organization.
• Bonus points if you have a background in the finance industry or experience with Rust, TypeScript, Solidity, or applied cryptography.
