What you bring

As a Senior Creative Technologist, you will join our engineering team in a full-time, remote capacity to bridge the gap between design and code. You will be responsible for transforming mathematical and scientific concepts into polished, interactive programs that define our user experience. Your work will directly influence how our community learns, requiring a blend of technical precision and creative flair.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and artists to prototype and build production-ready interactive content.
• Develop and maintain reusable code libraries using Elm to streamline our internal authoring processes.
• Integrate visual design systems, including character art and UI components, to ensure a cohesive and engaging educational world.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with at least four years of professional experience and a strong background in interactive media, game development, or data visualization. You should possess a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, and while experience with Elm is a major plus, we value your ability to learn new tools quickly. A degree in a technical or design-related field is preferred, but we prioritize a strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to iterate on creative coding projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who communicates clearly, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to apply their interaction design skills to educational technology.
