- Balance technical excellence with business goals to ensure we are building the right features in the right way.
- Operate with high autonomy while maintaining a strong sense of accountability to your teammates and our users.
- Foster a culture of candor and high standards, focusing on the balance between rapid development and long-term code quality.
- Advocate for improvements that enhance both the developer experience for our team and the learning experience for our students.
- Maintain a learner-first mindset by constantly evaluating how your technical decisions impact our community.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in building mobile products using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

- A preference for simple, readable, and maintainable code that is easy for others to understand and build upon.
- Strong collaborative skills, with a desire to engage in pair programming, mentorship, and cross-functional teamwork.
- Fluency in English.
- A willingness to occasionally contribute to iOS or web projects when it serves the highest impact for our learners.
Benefits
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% of premiums covered for employees.
- Generous parental leave and support for dependent healthcare coverage.
- Flexible paid time off, with a company culture that encourages taking approximately 6 weeks of leave per year.
- Home office budget to ensure you have the equipment you need to succeed.
- Stipend for professional development to support your ongoing growth.
- Remote work flexibility, supported by quarterly team offsites to foster human connection.
