YC AI (Series B) - Machine Learning Engineer at Silver.dev

By training our own foundation models and prototyping agents on top of them, we are working to rekindle the dream of the personal computer. We are looking for a senior machine learning engineer to join our remote team and help us push the boundaries of human-like machine intelligence.

What you'll be doing

• You will collaborate directly with our senior research team to conduct deep learning research and build the infrastructure needed to support our goal of creating general machine intelligence.
• You will manage a variety of technical projects, such as implementing self-supervised networks, creating PyTorch-based libraries for architecture search, and developing tools for distributed parallel training.
• You will contribute to our open source initiatives by releasing internal tools and translating recently published research papers into functional network implementations.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should be a self-directed engineer who is comfortable working independently. We are looking for someone who is passionate about engineering best practices and excited about contributing to open source projects. You must have a strong command of Python and experience with PyTorch, along with a deep understanding of training neural networks. Proficiency in English is required to communicate effectively within our team.
