Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Location: Argentina
Silver.dev is looking for a CTO for a seed series startup getting ready for its next venture round. The startup is profitable and is building an AI-assisted version of the product to drive productivity gains and grow exponentially.
Job Description: As our CTO, you will be the technical heart of our company. You will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of the company by spearheading technical development, building our tech team, and setting the strategic direction for our technological advancements. We are looking for a leader who is a hands-on engineer with a knack for inspiring teams and a remarkable track record in the U.S. startup ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Technical Vision and Strategy: Establish the company’s technical vision and lead all aspects of technological development, including strategic direction and future growth.
Product Development: Oversee the initial creation and subsequent iteration of our core product, ensuring we are fast to market without sacrificing quality.
Team Leadership: Attract, hire, and retain a team of talented engineers. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and accountability within the technology team.
Hands-on Development: While you will have a team, as a seed-stage startup, you must be willing and able to roll up your sleeves and contribute code or troubleshoot critical issues.
Qualifications:
Proven track record as a senior engineering leader in a successful US startup environment.
Extensive experience in hands-on development, ideally with exposure to a modern tech stack
Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and lead technical teams.
Strong familiarity with startup culture and the agility required to thrive in such environments.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
Experience in scaling technology and business from the ground up.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have:
Prior experience in B2B SaaS.
Experience living and working in top-of-the-line US startups
