As we process billions of dollars in commerce annually, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to join our payments team and help us scale our impact.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain payment processing functionality within our existing software ecosystem.
Write high-quality code in Python or Java and engage in regular peer reviews.
Design robust technical architectures and explain complex concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Work closely with product managers, security teams, and fellow engineers to lead projects from initial design to final delivery.
Provide mentorship to junior members of the engineering team.
Oversee the performance and reliability of our live systems.

Must-haves

At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience within agile, collaborative teams.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong expertise in Python or Java.
Proven experience working with distributed systems.
Proficiency with AWS Lambda.
Fluency in English.
