The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join our AWS Cloud Data Services team. In this role, you will be a vital part of our engineering efforts, helping to design, build, and maintain the architecture that keeps our data platforms running smoothly. You will work in a high-velocity environment where your technical expertise will directly influence how we deliver features and modernize our systems. This is a full-time, hybrid position based at one of our core locations in Center Valley, PA, Las Vegas, NV, Tampa, FL, Morrisville, NC, or Atlanta, GA, and we may offer relocation assistance for the right candidate.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate with a high-velocity Agile team to develop new features, resolve technical debt, and ensure our cloud data platform remains reliable and efficient.
• You will serve as a technical expert, contributing to architectural designs and establishing best practices for our data solutions while providing level 3 support to diagnose and fix complex system issues.
• You will work closely with product owners and cross-functional engineering groups to understand data requirements, while also mentoring junior team members to help them grow their skills.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with a deep background in cloud engineering and a passion for data. You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders to solve complex problems.

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• You bring at least 5 years of experience as a Cloud Data Engineer, specifically with AWS services like Redshift, AWS Glue, and Lambda.
• You have 5+ years of experience working in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence.
• You have at least 4 years of experience with ETL tools such as SSIS and are proficient in using GitLab for source control.
• You possess significant hands-on experience with database management, including data modeling, complex queries, and stored procedures, with a preference for MS SQL Server and Redshift.
• You are fluent in English and have the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
