What is this role?
We are searching for a Senior Card Schemes Technical Expert to join us in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a senior-level position perfect for a professional who thrives in the technical side of payment processing and wants to play a key role in navigating the evolving landscape of card scheme regulations.
What will you do?
- You will act as our primary technical liaison with card scheme teams, ensuring we stay ahead of mandates while advocating for our specific business needs.
- You will lead complex certification projects and optimize our internal configurations for critical processes like authorization, settlement, and clearing.
- You will serve as an internal consultant, translating intricate regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions for our R&D, operations, and finance teams.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of experience working directly with card schemes or within the payment processing industry. You need a deep understanding of acquiring and issuing processes, as well as the ability to manage technical projects from start to finish. We are looking for someone who can communicate complex regulatory information clearly to various internal stakeholders. Experience with payment platforms like Way4 is a significant plus, and you must be comfortable working in an English-speaking environment.
